Meet John

CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF IMBIBING OFFICER

John kicked off his illustrious drinking career at the tender age of 14, stationed in Germany where he was what they call an "Air Force brat." It was there he discovered Hefeweizen and his love affair with beverages began. But oh, the horror when he returned to the U.S. in the '80s! He quickly morphed into a 17-year-old beer snob, because let's face it, American beer at the time was like comparing a baloney sandwich to a gourmet bratwurst.


Fast forward to his 30s, John decided his liver needed a new challenge and hopped over to the dark side of sales & marketing. Here, he learned the true art of drinking, leading to a pivotal moment with his sales team one night, where he was introduced to whiskey. Ever since, whiskey has been his faithful companion, except when he's looking for his keys, which he often misplaces thanks to his new liquid friend.


John's whiskey passion hit new heights when he joined forces with the "Whiskey Business" crew. Every Thursday at 3:30 PM, work stops (because who needs work, really?) for what they call "Thirsty Thursdays." These events are less about surviving the week and more about celebrating the fact they've made it through another one without an intervention.
